About the Fragrances
Palomita Blanca 1942
Palomita Blanca 1942 was the first fragrance created under House of Oubliette—and it was always meant to be. This one is for my mother. She loved orchids, roses, and white florals, and her perfume collection stretched from the late 1960s through the early 2000s. Her taste never chased trends; it was consistent, elegant, and truly hers.
After countless revisions, the moment I smelled the final version, I knew it was it. I felt it in my heart and it gave me goosebumps. I truly felt her energy with me when creating it. My oldest sister confirmed it with a single spray. With tears in her eyes she smiled and said, “Eddie! This is Mami! This is mami!."
Beatrice
Beatrice honors my oldest sister. She’s always loved fragrances like Red Door, Pleasures, and Candy, so I wanted to create something fresh, balanced, and expressive—something that matched her energy and spirit. We went through several versions before she landed on the one I knew she’d choose all along. The second she smelled it, she smiled. That instant reaction told me everything. When a fragrance feels right, there’s no debate.
Druidess & Guaribea
Druidess and Guaribea are sister fragrances, both created in honor of Mrs. Oubliette. They share a similar foundation but express themselves differently. Druidess is light, airy, and centered around white tea though tropical. Guaribea leans deeper and more sensual, built around smoky black tea. Also, tropical but not in the traditional sense. Together, they reflect her calm, kindness, and quiet magic.
Café con Ron & Pitorro de Coco
These fragrances are rooted in my Puerto Rican upbringing. They recall family gatherings, holidays, coffee simmering on the stove, conversations that stretched late into the night, and adults sharing drinks and stories. As a child, I watched it all unfold. As an adult, I stepped into it myself. Café con Ron and Pitorro de Coco capture that warmth—the feeling of familia, nostalgia, and being surrounded by love.
Black Dove 86
Black Dove 86 was created for me. Built from the backbone of Palomita Blanca, it exists as its counterpart—its son. It reflects my evolution from youth into adulthood and beyond. Inspired by music, dark romanticism, James Dean, The Crow, and my deep connection to the ocean, it blends dark fruits, leather, smoke, woods, greenery, and a subtle aquatic touch. It’s moody, expressive, and deeply personal.
Rebel in Black Intense
Rebel in Black Intense is my boldest expression. Though unisex, IMO, it leans dark and powerful. Inspired by traditional barbershops and wet-shaving rituals—straight razors, shaving soap, leather, and lavender—it’s about confidence and presence. This is the fragrance I reach for when I want to feel grounded, strong, and unstoppable. Another one I enjoyed creating.
Past Limited Editions
Gothic Fresh
Gothic Fresh came from a quiet moment—doing laundry on a rainy day, wrapped in an oversized black hoodie. It captures stillness: rain tapping outside, clean fabric warmed by the body, time slowing down. Soft, clean, and introspective, this fragrance is solitude, comfort, and darkness made gentle. So fresh and so clean.
Conejito Malo (Pure Perreo)
Conejito Malo (Pure Perreo) is my love letter to Puerto Rico. Music in the air. Salt on skin. Fruity drinks, sweat, and the creamy warmth of coconut and sun-warmed fruit. It recalls late nights at the beach—waves crashing, bodies moving, energy alive and more. Raw, sensual, and addictive, this fragrance captures rhythm, heat, and freedom without compromise. Pure Perreo.
